Warning Switch off all power supply equipment, including the motor voltages connected to the DAQ, and wait at least ten minutes before performing any maintenance work.
If one or more DAQs are offline (outside of expected maintenance), follow these steps:
1. Check the Switch
Ensure the switch is connected to the correct gateway port.
Verify the switch is properly connected to the power supply.
2. Check DAQ LEDs
LED 2 (Green): Indicates the DAQ is powered on.
LED 1:
White: DAQ is processing and sending data to the gateway.
Green: DAQ connects to the gateway, but the gateway can't connect to it—check cables with a cable tester.
Blue: Flashes during boot; if stuck, the DAQ needs replacement.
Red: DAQ can’t find the gateway—check cabling between the DAQ, switch, and gateway.
3. Inspect Ethernet Cables
Ensure cables are undamaged and securely connected.
Keep a 2 cm distance between the DAQ and fused terminal blocks to avoid EMI issues.

If the DAQ remains offline, contact Samotics support via onboarding-support@samotics.com.
