To install the Samotics Connectivity Kit, please follow the steps listed below.
1. Install hardware on the DIN rail

Mount the gateway, switch, and DAQ on the DIN rail.
Notice Make sure the DAQ is within 3 meters of the phase wires.
Warning Do not connect the system to the power grid during installation.
2. Connect earth bonding

Attach the switch’s earth bonding point to the protective earth.
3. Connect Ethernet cables

Use Ethernet port 1 on the switch and "Eth 2" on the gateway to connect them with the supplied cables.
Connect each installed DAQ to the switch using ethernet cable.
Notice "COM" refers to the micro-USB port next to the Ethernet ports. The Ethernet ports are labeled "Eth 1" and "Eth 2".
4. Install the power supply

Mount the power supply on the DIN rail.
Warning Do not connect the power to the 100-240V AC mains yet.
5. Connect the switch to power

Use two 1.5 mm² wires to connect the switch to the power supply.
