To install the Samotics hardware, please follow the steps listed below.
1. Install Modem kit on the DIN rail

Mount the modem and 12V power supply unit (PSU) on the DIN rail.
Notice You will have to install modem only for mobile or WiFi network.
Warning Do not connect the system to the power grid during installation.
2. Connect power supply unit (12V) with a modem

Attach the red wire to the positive terminal (V+) and the black wire to the negative terminal (V-), ensuring correct polarity and secure connections. Plug the 4-pin connector into the corresponding socket on the modem.

Connect the magnetic foot antennas to the mobile ports (SMA) on the top of the modem and place them separately.
If you are using Wi-Fi network instead of mobile connection, connect Wi-Fi antenna to the last port (closest to the DIN rail) on the modem.
4. Install Sensor kit and PSU kit

Mount the 48V power supply and the NOVAQ on the DIN rail.
Warning Do not connect the power to the 100-240V AC mains yet.
5. Connect earth bonding

Attach the NOVAQs earth bonding point to the protective earth.
6. Connect power supply unit (48V) with a NOVAQ

Connect the NOVAQ with the PSU using the cable supplied inside of the PSU box. Attach the red wire to the positive terminal (V+) and the black wire to the negative terminal (V), ensuring correct polarity and secure connections. Plug the 2-pin connector into the corresponding socket on the bottom of the NOVAQ.
7. Connect network to the NOVAQ

Connect the Ethernet cable from the modem or your internal network switch/router to the WAN port of the NOVAQ
