In the SAM4 Setup Tool, you can assign a DAQ to a motor.
Notice It is extremely important that the DAQ is linked to the correct motor ID. If you link an incorrect DAQ to the motor ID, the information from another DAQ will be displayed in the system as the data for that motor ID.
Follow these steps to assign a DAQ to a motor:
Navigate to the DAQs page in the top bar.
Click the serial number of the DAQ you want to assign to a motor.
Press the Link Motor button in the motor information card. This page may take a few seconds to load.
Select the location of the motor. A list of motor information will be shown—ensure the DAQ is installed on the exact motor displayed on the screen.
Press Link Motor to complete the process.
