You can either link NOVAQs to assets via a mobile device or via a desktop. Both methods are explained below.
Notice It is extremely important that the NOVAQ is connected to the correct motor ID. If you connect an incorrect NOVAQ to the motor ID, the information from another NOVAQ will be shown in the system as the information for this motor ID.
Connecting through a mobile device
The most convenient way to link NOVAQs to assets is via a mobile device.
Visit onboarding.samotics.com in your regular mobile browser to access the commissioning page.
To add the serial number of a NOVAQ , select the camera icon and scan the QR code that is available on the NOVAQ. This will automatically enter the serial number.
Please double-check that you scanned the correct QR code and confirm by clicking the checkmark.
Connecting through a desktop
Visit onboarding.samotics.com and enter your login credentials.
Navigate to the installation phase in the portal and select the asset you want to link a NOVAQ to.
Here, you can manually enter the serial number, which is printed on the NOVAQ.
Click Confirm to complete linking the NOVAQ serial number.
