To access the SAM4 Setup Tool, follow these steps:
1. Set your laptop to Airplane Mode:
Click on the Wi-Fi icon at the bottom right of your screen.
Click on Airplane Mode.
Ensure no other Ethernet cables are connected to the laptop.
2. Connect your laptop to the LAN port of the switch.
3. On your laptop, open a web browser and navigate to 192.168.1.1. This will open the SAM4 Setup Tool login page.
Notice In case of a DAQ reboot, the SAM4 Setup Tool may require a few minutes to load.
4. On first login, you will be prompted to set up a password for that gateway.
Notice Make sure to store your password in a safe place where you can easily access it!
5. After inputting your password and confirming it, press Set Password.
6. Input the password again to log in.
Notice If you forget your password, contact your Technical Onboarding Specialist or reach out to onboarding-support@samotics.com to request a password reset token. You can set a new password using the token. Please note that it may take up to 2 business days to receive the token.
